Get help with Signature Ready

On the Sign tab, choose Scan paper or Open a PDF or photo. The document opens directly. Tap Signature, draw or type your signature and choose Use signature. Tap the paper to place it, then choose Sign document. Send signed copy opens the system share sheet. You can also share a PDF or photo from another app to Signature Ready.

Fields save as you work. Choose Close to leave the editor. Reopen the draft from Recent on the Sign tab or from Documents. A draft does not use a free signing until you sign it.

Tap a field to select it. Drag it to move it or pull the dot to resize it. Tap Enlarge above a page for zoom. Choose Signature, Date, Text or More below the paper, then tap where the field belongs. Document tools includes undo, redo, page organization and initials on every page.

On the Sign tab, open More options, then Templates. Choose a starter form and Use this form to create an editable draft.

Open a draft, place its fields, then choose Save as template in Document tools. Names, dates and checkboxes reset for new copies. Text fields remain as reusable defaults, so remove client-specific text before saving. One personal template is free. Pro adds unlimited personal templates.

Open the draft's details in Documents. Add a due date or enable a reminder. Notification permission is requested when you save the reminder. If permission is off, enable it in iOS Settings or turn off the reminder to save the other details.

Automatic field finding, summaries and document questions need Apple Intelligence to be enabled and its on-device model available. Availability also depends on device, language and system settings. Manual signing, forms, drafts, templates and page tools work without the model.

Pro document questions display excerpts that match text extracted from the document. Tap a source to jump to its page. A matching excerpt does not guarantee the generated answer is correct. Read the source and its context.

Open a signed document in Documents to export the signed PDF, a signing record as PDF or JSON or the imported original when available. Pro adds combined PDF packs. Signing records use device-reported time and the entered signer name. They do not independently verify identity or prove delivery.

Open Signature Ready Settings to restore purchases or manage an active subscription. You can also manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Saved documents and personal templates remain accessible after Pro ends.

Settings, Delete all data removes the app's saved documents, templates, profile, handwriting, notes and reminders from this device. It does not cancel Pro or remove copies held in other apps, services or backups.
